Leipzig is not only famous for its personalities but also for its architecture. Goethe who was inspired to write Faust as a student in the city, said: Mein Leipzig lob ich mir, es ist ein Klein Paris und bildet seine Leute - I admire Leipzig it is a small Paris and educates its citizens. The city has many architectual styles, from Gothic to modern, but the dominant style is Jugendstil, which is the German equilivent of Art Nouveau. I find these windows beautiful, and it's a pleasure and a privilege to find a new function and modern interpretation for them.
